HOW YOU CAN HELP

Charitable support has long played a vital role within our hospitals. We hope that with your help our new hospitals will also benefit hugely from charitable support.

The New Children’s Hospital Appeal launched in May 2006 with just three years to go until the new hospital opens.

During our three-year appeal our goal is to raise £20 million to provide the new hospital with state-of-the-art equipment to help our doctors provide our patients with the very best in diagnosis and care. We also want to provide parental accommodation facilities so that parents can stay close to their child during treatment.

In 2009 the new hospital will open its door to the region’s poorliest children – we hope that that with your help and that of our local communities and companies we will achieve our goals.

Going the Extra Mile

Our Going the Extra Mile campaign was launched last Christmas and it has proved so successful that we have decided to carry on! The aim of the campaign is to capture the hearts and minds of the people of the North West by ensuring their support is recognised both within the hospital and online on the Appeal website.
