Corporate Appeal Partnership
We consider all our corporate supporters to be partners of the Appeal. We are keen to develop partnerships which not only encourage consistent and committed support from organisations and staff, but also prove to be commercially viable for those companies who choose to support us.
By adopting the appeal as your company’s ‘Appeal of the Year’ your dedicated account manager will work with you to ensure your partnership is tailored to suit your business and employees.
We will help you develop a calendar of fundraising activities which will engage staff and customers. We will also be able to provide PR support to help promote your events.
Payroll Giving
Payroll giving is a simple and tax-effective way of making a regular donation to the New Children’s Hospital Appeal.
Your donation will be deducted straight from your salary at source and the tax man will make up the difference. Provided your employer already offers a scheme then donating by payroll giving really is very simple. All you will need to do is complete an instruction form and return it to us and we will do the rest.
The form authorises your employer to make the deductions from your salary on our behalf. The deductions will then be sent to a Payroll Giving Agency approved by the Inland Revenue who will then forward the donations on to the New Children’s Hospital Appeal.
And if your employer doesn’t already offer a scheme then why not suggest they start one – payroll giving schemes are inexpensive to run and can be set up just four simple steps and what’s more all of the administration and set-up costs are tax deductible!
Four simple steps for employers:
To set up a payroll giving scheme all your need to do is:
- Fill in a simple contract with a registered Payroll Giving Agency
- Promote the scheme to your employees and give them the sign-up forms
- Make the monthly deductions along with your other standard payroll deductions
- Send one payment out to your agency – they will then handle all of the administration and make the distributions to the donors’ various charities for you

Sponsor one of our events to forge a strong association between your brand and the Appeal. Sponsorship needn't be confined to events - we are always ready to explore other opportunities with your company. For example you can support us through initiatives such as goods in-kind, sampling or by funding a promotional campaign. Or maybe you'd like to create and sponsor a bespoke event to raise funds? - Donations of prizes for a raffle or auction are always welcome.
- Professional skills such as design and marketing can help to enhance our materials and in turn our fundraising programme. You could even consider donating your company's fee instead of payment.
- Hosting an event to introduce the appeal to potential supporters can be invaluable and can nurture new partnerships.
- Providing volunteers to help out in the office and at fundraising events helps to ensure that our events and our office run smoothly. The total cost of their employment, borne by the company, is tax deductible.
